The First Lady of Burundi
believes action speaks louder than words. If you look at her actions, every
Saturday you would find her at the Community Works Day, working alongside the
people of Burundi. She is committed to winning for her country.
“Theory doesn’t change nations,
action and hard work changes nations. You can have the best philosophy in the
world but, if it stays on paper, it’s just a philosophy. The difference in the
country of Burundi is the leadership of President Pierre Nkurunziza and First
Lady Denise Nkurunziza. They exemplify their philosophy through actions at the
Community Work Days. They are teaching by example as they work side-by-side
with their people. I have worked with this country for 6 years and what has
taken place within that time frame is utterly outstanding. There is a peace in
the country and a unity like no other I’ve seen. This shows the power of hard
work,” said Ambassador Clyde Rivers.
This is the New Burundi!
